Key responsibilities & accountabilities:
- To carry out plumbing and drainage works as required throughout the working day to a high standard and to customers satisfaction.
- To ensure that the customer is aware of the work you are going to do carry out and that pricing has been agreed before works are commenced.
- To be observant when at customers property and advise, recommend and prepare estimates for further works.
- To ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
- Ensure that the office can contact you at any given time by keeping your mobile phone available at all times.
- Always keep the office informed with any changes to jobs, including time required on site.
- To ensure all job paperwork and details i.e. photo’s, diagrams, plans etc. are completed in full and handed into the office on a regular basis, or as soon as possible.
- Make sure that payment is collected on every cash sales job before leaving site, unless authorised by the office.
- Being available for call-outs as per the rota and ensuring that the vehicle is equipped/stocked for the task.
- Ensuring that the Drain Away vehicle and all Drain Away plant and equipment is maintained, kept clean, tidy and reporting any defects to Danny Greenwood.

- Answer phones and respond to customer requests.
- Sell product and place customer orders in computer system.
- Provide customers with product and service information.
- Upsell products and services.
- Transfer customer calls to appropriate staff.
- Identify, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system.
- Follow-up on customer inquires not immediately resolved.
- Complete call logs and reports.
- Research billing issues.
- Recognize, document and alert the supervisor of trends in customer calls.
- Recommend process improvements.
- Other duties as assigned.
